Tithe
The Bible teaches us a starting point for giving is the tithe. The first 10% of our income we give to God through the Church, to advance God’s kingdom. Tithing is an act of worship that grows our trust in God and reaches people. This is the only place in the Bible where God tells us to test Him and see if he will not open up the storehouse of heaven and pour on us a blessing we cannot hold.
Offering
When we give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering. One of our core values is to be generous like our Father in Heaven. Our generosity provides resources the Church uses to serve and reach others locally and globally.
